Concetta (Connie) Lopusznick - (1944 - 2016)

Picture

Connie was a Charter Member of the VTL Columbiettes.  She co-chaired our Sunshine committee right from the start.  Always smiling, Connie was always the first to offer her services for any project or fundraiser we got involved in.  She especially loved doing the Bake Sales.  After 2 years, Connie took on the responsibility of becoming Treasurer for a 2 year term, and then graciously accepted the challenge of Vice President.  Connie was an important member of VTL and will be missed sorely.  Her gentle, caring for everyone brought a ray of sunshine to our group.  Connie's deep faith and love of life was evident in everything she did.  RIP to a special lady! In 2025, we named our Scholarship in honor of Connie who had been a teacher for many years and loved by all.

Louise Herbert  (1950 - 2020)

Louise joined the Columbiettes November 4, 2015. She would always arrive early for every meeting, smiling and willing to help with every activity she could. Her unwavering faith in God and a devoted member of the Mary Mother of God Church, kept her motivated to put others first and volunteer in many other groups. On April 8, 2018, Louise made her Major Degree. She then took on the duties as the Sentinel. Vincent T Lombardi Columbiettes were blessed to include Louise as a member. She will be missed dearly.

Joanne Fanslau (1980 - 2024)

Shortly after Joanne moved to Atlantic Highlands she became a Columbiette. She could always be found at St. Agnes noon mass where her son Robert was an Altar Server. Joanne was also a member of the US Coast Guard and the VFW - all of which kept her very busy. Although we did not have the pleasure of her presence for very long, she will be missed. May her soul rest in peace.
